This section contains succinct, yet factually robust, papers on topics including carpet and asthma; indoor air quality; underfloor heating and the misconception that carpet is toxic.

Over the years, there has been a lot of inaccurate and, at times, ‘scaremongering’ material written about carpet – particularly on the subject of asthma and indoor air quality.  These A4 sheets  categorically refute the belief that carpet is unsuitable for asthma sufferers or that it leads to poor indoor air quality.  We also put to bed any assertion that carpet cannot be used with underfloor heating.  Do print them off and have them ‘at hand’ for any ‘doubting’ or ‘confused’ consumers.
