It’s all about the stairs

We’re finding more and more interest in floor coverings for stairs and hallways. There is a growing trend to fit distinct and different carpet types and styles in these areas, rather than fit the same carpet though out the home – and this continues to dominate sales results.

Rupert Anton, our PR executive, has take soundings from other industry experts and sees no let up during the next financial quarter. “We’re certainly not going to see a reversion to the consumer choice of one floor covering type throughout the home. With a wide variety of material types finishes and colours, consumers are keen to stamp their own mark on their interiors – the hallway, landings and stairs are often an accent to the more regular carpets specified for other rooms”.
